Cocient connects engineers with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Use your engineering background, whether mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace or beyond, to make AI a real partner in design and analysis
• Put frontier models to work on realistic engineering problems, and scrutinize their assumptions, calculations and trade-offs
• Help define what rigorous, expert engineering reasoning looks like for the next generation of AI

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Substantial hands-on experience as a professional engineer in industry, government or research, or an advanced degree in an engineering field
• Strong command of engineering analysis and the judgment behind design trade-offs
• Clear, precise written English
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license or published research is a plus

HOW IT WORKS

THE DETAILS

• Fully remote; set your own hours
• Independent contractor
• Paid hourly between $50 and $120 depending on experience level
• You must be 18 or older
