Data Scientist, AI Training

Cocient connects experienced data scientists with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.

What you'll do

• Bring your statistical and machine-learning judgment to how frontier AI models analyze data, build models and draw conclusions
• Give models realistic analysis problems, from messy datasets to experiment design, and find where their reasoning or their code goes wrong
• Help define what a rigorous, expert data science answer looks like

Who we're looking for

• Substantial hands-on experience as a data scientist, statistician, machine-learning engineer or quantitative analyst
• Strong command of statistics, experimental design and machine learning, plus Python or R and SQL
• Clear, precise written English
• An advanced degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field is a plus
