Cocient connects lawyers and legal professionals with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Put your practice experience to work shaping how frontier models reason about contracts, disputes, and regulatory obligations
• Stress-test those models with the questions a practicing lawyer would ask, and find where the analysis sounds fluent but is wrong
• Help set the bar for what a genuinely expert legal answer looks like

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Substantial hands-on experience in litigation, corporate and securities, intellectual property, tax, or regulatory and compliance work
• Strong command of legal analysis and the judgment behind it
• Clear, precise written English
• Bar admission is a plus

HOW IT WORKS

THE DETAILS

• Fully remote; set your own hours

• Paid hourly between $80 and $200 depending on experience level
